Sign-in and seller checks backed by the national identity register

Online platforms rarely meet the people behind their accounts. With RDCPASS, users sign up by confirming on their own phone, and your team can check individual sellers and their companies against the national registers. When a scam gets through, you report it straight to the national fraud desk.

  • Sign up with RDCPASS in one tap
  • Seller and company verification
  • Account recovery tied to the real holder

The challenges

Fake accounts make users wary

Once bots, duplicate profiles and impersonators appear, users start doubting everyone they meet on your platform.

Unverified sellers put buyers at risk

If anyone can post a listing, scam listings go up faster than your moderators can take them down.

Long sign-up forms lose users

Each extra field or password rule costs you sign-ups. And the data you do collect still has to be checked and protected.

How RDCPASS helps

01

Sign up and sign in with RDCPASS

A new user taps one button, confirms on their phone with a face check and picks the details they are willing to share with you.

02

Marketplace seller verification

Check individual sellers against their certified identity. For business sellers, look the company up by RCCM, ID NAT or NIF and get its officers and beneficial owners.

03

Account recovery

When someone says they have lost access, ask them to sign in again with RDCPASS. The account goes back to its real holder and nobody else.

04

Trust and safety investigations

Your trust and safety team can report confirmed scams and identity usurpation to the national fraud desk, then follow each case by its reference number.

Connects to the channels you already run

Your app, website, branches and back office call RDCPASS through a single integration. The services you choose send back verified answers your staff can act on.

  • Login with RDCPASS is built on OpenID Connect and plugs into the sign-in stack you already run.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to add Login with RDCPASS?+

It follows the OpenID Connect standard, so most platforms can reuse the libraries they already have. You can build and test the whole flow in the sandbox at no cost.

Do we have to store identity documents?+

No. Users share certified details from the national register. Your application receives the data scopes it is approved for and nothing beyond them.

Can we verify business sellers as well as individuals?+

Yes. KYC Validation covers individuals. KYB Verification looks up companies by RCCM, ID NAT or NIF and returns their officers and beneficial owners.

Which billing model suits a growing platform?+

Most platforms begin on pay-as-you-go, with a prepaid wallet you top up by M-Pesa, Orange Money, Airtel Money, card or bank transfer. When volumes grow, they usually move to the Enterprise plan.
