Open accounts remotely and keep KYC files up to date

Banks and financial institutions use RDCPASS to check customers against the national register. A customer can open an account from their phone, existing files can be refreshed in batches, and each check is recorded so the compliance team can show regulators how a customer was verified.

  • Remote onboarding with a face match
  • Batch KYC refresh for the whole portfolio
  • Sanctions, PEP and beneficial-owner checks

The challenges

Opening an account in a branch takes too long

Customers queue while staff fill in forms, photocopy documents and check them by hand. Branch teams spend much of the day on it.

KYC files fall out of date

Periodic reviews across thousands of customers are hard to organise. Proving afterwards that they were done is harder still.

AML/CTF expectations keep rising

Regulators want documented checks that can be repeated, on individual customers as well as on companies and the people who ultimately own them.

How RDCPASS helps

01

Remote account opening

The customer is checked against their certified identity, then takes a selfie from their own phone to show they are the account holder.

02

Periodic KYC refresh

Send your customer base in batches of up to 10,000 records. Results are returned to your system automatically.

03

Sanctions and PEP screening

Customers are screened when they join and monitored afterwards, so your compliance officers hear about a change of status.

04

Corporate onboarding

Verify a company by RCCM, ID NAT or NIF. Before the account is opened you also know who its officers and beneficial owners are.

Connects to the channels you already run

Your app, website, branches and back office call RDCPASS through a single integration. The services you choose send back verified answers your staff can act on.

Frequently asked questions

Can we verify customers who never visit a branch?+

Yes. KYC Validation confirms the certified identity and Face Recognition confirms that the person on camera is its holder. The whole check can run inside your app.

How do we refresh KYC for our existing customers?+

Send the customer list in batches of up to 10,000 records. Results come back to your system when they are ready, and batch records are billed at the lower batch rate.

Does RDCPASS cover business customers?+

Yes. KYB Verification checks companies by RCCM, ID NAT or NIF and returns their officers and beneficial owners. You can then screen those people with AML & CTF Screening.

Which billing model suits a bank?+

Most banks take the Enterprise plan. It comes with a single monthly invoice in USD or CDF, negotiated volume pricing and a dedicated account manager.
